Our Process: A breakdown of what to expect from Hilltree Marketing

Are you curious about consulting with Hilltree Marketing, but a little unsure about what the process will look like for your business? Well, have no fear - this article will walk you through what to expect and what you will receive when working with the HillTree Team. 

At Hilltree Marketing, we believe that your business’s goals and your place in the market is unique. To most effectively represent your company, we tailor each branding strategy to meet your needs and desired objectives.  Our custom marking plans are developed during a four-step branding process, which consists of research, planning, development and analytics.  


Step One: Research.

We kick-start our marketing-plan development with a deep dive into understanding your business. Also called Brand Culture Fusion, we use this time to listen and to observe.  We’ll schedule one-on-one meetings to learn about your organization’s culture, goals, preferences and nuances. During this phase, we’ll tour your facilities and assess the marketing strategies you’ve implemented in the past.  We’ll take this time to identify your target audience, what makes your business unique, and we’ll identify opportunities for growth.  This fact-finding step is all about you and gives us the inspiration to best represent you moving forward. 

Step Two: Planning.

Once we understand what makes you tick and how to articulate your message to the world, we’ll start mapping out a branding strategy. Generally, this is a good time for us to focus on website development.  We’ll pay special attention to the organization and location of website information. It’s crucial that we deliver a website that is both visually pleasing and easy for new/existing customers to navigate. This step is also an excellent time for us to identify the marketing tools (such as photos, videos, commercials, etc.) that will be best to represent your company in your desired communities. Ultimately, this is the time our multifaceted team works together to generate a custom marketing strategy for your organization.  

Step Three: Development. 

During Step Three, we deploy our talented photographers and videographers to capture engaging content that showcases your business. Depending on your needs, we will schedule photo shoots and/or video shoots at this time to capture headshots for your employees, facility footage, and images of your products. This is also when we love to deploy our drones to capture dreamy aerial footage for your company. Our graphic designers start rolling out color schemes to best represent your brand and our social-media experts will generate engaging content for your social channels during this step. 

Step Four: Analytics. 

The fourth and final step of our individualized marketing plan for you is when we review your analytics. On a monthly basis, we will meet with you to assess what practices are working best and to discuss additional opportunities for growth. We’ll highlight what features your users find most engaging or useful, and where we can beef up our efforts. For example, if a page on your website isn’t being selected by your users, during this time we will assess if it due to a difficulty to locate or if it needs to be presented differently.
